Cho Dem Phu Quoc Night Market – Things todo on Puc Quoc Island

You can’t come to Phu Quoc without checking out the Cho Dem Night Market Night Market.

It’s a walking street that comes alive at night with food, drinks and all kinds of interesting products for sale. Even if you don’t buy anything it’s an interesting experience. There are a ton of people here though so maybe not for people that don’t like large crowds.

Photos From Phu Quoc Night Market

Likely at this time the virus hasn’t made its way into Vietnam just yet. We got to enjoy a whole year of freedom before it made its way here. From fidget spinners to strange alien fruits and freshest pepper I have ever seen, this market has it all.

Buy many different flavors of dried fruit and delicious street food. You can get wallets and even buy an alligator. Not sure why you would want to and pretty sure you can’t take that on a plane. But if you want to, you can buy it. You can get some fresh seafood.

This guy was selling some massive snails. Some of the biggest I have ever seen. This one was a wrapping 2 kilograms. Would you give it a try?

Pomegranate juice was really good. This woman has such an efficient way of getting the seeds out of the Pomegranate. Watch this expert technique here. I’ll have to try that myself next time. Wow! Who knew that if you go to a night market in Vietnam you leave with a new skill.

One thing I really suggest you try is the ice cream. You know where it is cause you can hear them banging the spatulas on the table. This woman was trying to convince me to get an avocado durian ice cream. I wasn’t so sure about that combination, but I settled on passion fruit. They make it fresh right in front of you on a cold grill. Costs 30K Vietnamese dong or $1.69CND. Was pretty damn good.

Where is the Phu Quoc Night Market?
