Jesus Christ Statue of Vũng Tàu Ba Ria Vietnam – 811 Steps to the top
Took Mary to Vung Tau for a little vacation. At the top of what they call the big mountain there is a giant statue of Jesus Christ. 801 steps up the mountain to the base of the statue. Once you catch your breath you can climb to the top of the Jesus statue on a very narrow staircase that can only fit one person at a time. At the top you can see the whole city from up there. The view was pretty spectacular. They also had a giant gun up there left over from the war. On the small mountain they have another giant statue of mother mary. I really wanted to check out the monkey temple but we ran out of time. Maybe next time.
