ขอพาย้อนเวลากลับไป 700 ปี สู่อาณาจักรล้านนาโบราณ ในคริสต์ศตวรรษที่ 13 เชียงใหม่เคยเป็นเมืองหลวงของล้านนาที่มีประวัติศาสตร์ยาวนานกว่า 700 ปีและวัดกว่า 300 แห่ง พวกเขามีแผนที่หรือแบบจำลองของเมืองโบราณเล็กๆ น้อยๆ ที่ทำให้ผมนึกถึงบทนำของ Game Of Thrones
 
One of the benefits of having sleep insomnia is a couple times a month I find myself on a night schedule. I get the rare chance to photograph their ancient ruins at night while the city sleeps. It’s peaceful and quite and all you can hear is the sounds of nature and the humming of their electrical grid.
 
One of the best times to go on an adventure is under the light of the stars just before sunrise. The gated temples often open around 4 – 5 am but no tourists show up till daylight breaks. Just a few monks doing their morning chores.
 
The Wat Chedi Luang is one of my favorite temples in Chiang Mai. It’s the biggest and lies in the heart of the old city. It’s surrounded by a giant wall and moat to protect the kingdom from their enemies.
