The Ancient City Of Bangkok – A Hidden Gem

The Pavilion Of Enlightenment located In the Ancient City Of Bangkok
One of the most beautiful places on earth. This place is so huge i’ll have to break it up into multiple posts. It’s a giant ancient city / the biggest historical site on earth according to the sign at the entrance.
You can bike around and explore all day. Costs about 700 bhat or $30 to get in if your a foreigner and 300 bhat if you are Thai. Thailand can be a little racist when it comes to what to charge people but it was so worth it.
The Pavilion of the Enlightened symbolizes the story of 500 monks from different cultural backgrounds who attained Nirvana. Nirvana means the “blowing out” of the flames and is kinda like the after life in the Buddhist religion. It’s the highest state of profound well-being a human is capable of attaining.
