About Crazy House Hang Nga Guesthouse In Dalat
The Crazy House in Dalat, Vietnam, officially known as the Hằng Nga Guesthouse, is an extraordinary and unconventional architectural marvel designed by Vietnamese architect Đặng Việt Nga. The structure is famous for its dreamlike, organic design that incorporates elements resembling natural forms such as animals, mushrooms, spider webs, and caves. This fairy-tale house draws inspiration from the natural surroundings of Dalat and the works of Catalan architect Antoni Gaudí, reflecting an expressionist architectural style with few right angles, complex organic structures, and an exterior that mimics a giant banyan tree. Inside, you’ll find ten themed guest rooms, each dedicated to a different animal and designed with corresponding decorations to match the theme. The Crazy House has been open to the public since 1990 and has gained international recognition for its unique architecture, making it a must-visit attraction in Dalat.
The entrance fee for adults to visit the Crazy House in Dalat is 50,000 VND, and for children whose heights are from 1.2 meters to 1.4 meters, the fee is 20,000 VND per ticket. Children under 1.2 meters can visit for free
