I love Granville island, even on rainy days. There are alot of shops, lots of choices for food you can grab a quick bite to go or sit in at the restaurants they have. Lovely to walk around, and get in some beautiful views. I take the ferry and take a boat ride on the island. Granville island has something for everyone: Brewery, Kids Only Market, water park, street entertainers, numerous restaurants, galleries, and theatres. Parking can be hard to find.

Best place in Vancouver for anything at any season, any day and anytime. Free parking before 11 am and after 6 pm. Great for walking around, shopping at the market, grabbing a bite to eat at the market, or dine out at classy restaurants. Many art centres as well as shops to buy various arts and hand made items.
