Victory Monument Bangkok Thailand

Victory Monument Bangkok Thailand

The monument was erected in June 1941 to commemorate the Thai victory in the Franco-Thai War. It’s at the center of a giant traffic circle where 5 statues honor the army, navy, air force, police, and militia.

The Franco-Thai War was fought between Thailand and France over certain areas of French Indo china. Which is actually part of Vietnam now. Where I’m going next lol
