We actually went to a wedding out here. 2 of Mary’s friends got married right next to marble mountain. There was a little party after with lots of Vietnamese food and drinking.
For me this was my morning, 11am, so I was trying not to drink too much. Didn’t exactly work out that way. Everyone was trying to get me to drink as much as possible. In Vietnam, (or south east Asia in general), they put ice in your beer. Just how they do it here.
Mo, Hi, Ba, Yo. Ya that’s how we party in Vietnam. You say this at least 100 times throughout the day. It’s the equivalent to cheers in the west.
They got me to drink this very strange alcohol, Basically like ginger moonshine. That’s the only way I know how to describe it. Alright! I’m going to try this strange alcohol over here. It’s as terrible as it sounds but I had to at least try it once.
